a while ago i did a piece for a fibres class where my friend kristina and i sat at my kitchen table and talked about our messy lives while i taught her to make dolls and we did self portraits to give each other. that sounds really convoluted and random but the concept is buried within, i promise. these are the final dolls: me on the left, kristina on the right. i think she did a pretty sweet job for her very first. i took 3 hours of video footage during this and i will definitely post the edited down result at some point.
and here is just a better picture of that little foxy guy hanging out on my bookshelf with a deer and some european robins. still hoping to make some better versions of him to sell asap!

i finally made something! hallelujah!
it's a prototype for a little fox. i am terrible with patterns. these little guys are one of my very favourite animals and i've been desperately wanting to make one ever since i saw astulabee's fox. i still have some kinks to work out in the pattern, but hopefully i'll be making some more of these soon.
